Born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada, Cera has been surrounded by an extravagant theatrical environment all her life. From vibrant billboards, colorful circus shows, and gorgeous casino architecture, Cera had plenty of fuel for an already energetic imagination. She took her first trip to a salon at age 7. Her uncle owned a salon in Henderson, Nevada called Liquid: The Salon; it was a huge one story building with lots of open space and about 15 stylists. From the color, cuts, and elegant styles, Cera couldn't get enough; she went back to the salon frequently, learning everything she could from her uncle. By the time she was in high school she was buying her own shears, bottles of Manic Panic, and buckets of bleach for her own at-home experiments. When the opportunity arose for her to move to New York, she was on a plane within a week. She immediately enrolled in Empire Beauty School in Manhattan. In September 2012, Cera had the opportunity to work with Noël Reid-Killings from Noël New York Salon & Boutique on a fashion show for Fashion Week. Cera continues to train under Noël, and has been working at Noël New York Salon & Boutique for three years. She's had the pleasure of working on photoshoots for companies such as Essence Magazine, Motions Hair Care, Dr. Miracle's Hair Care, and Absolut Vodka. She also has worked with the competitor of The Voice: France and newly upcoming singer, Diana Espir.
